J. Aaron Bishop
Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Aaron Bishop is the CEO and founder of Eigenspace, a
Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
It is a scientific Cybersecurity Analysis company. Aaron is leveraging his experience and relationships as a businessman,
Enterprise Architect, Strategist, technologist and operator to drive Eigenspace’s success in creating a new science for
Aaron has three decades of diversified experience in the information systems and technology at all levels of
the Public-Sector Industry.
Prior to starting Eigenspace, he was SAIC’s Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO),
with overall executive responsibility for all operational, technical, policy, and strategic direction of SAIC’s
Information Technology (IT) Security and Compliance. Upon joining SAIC in 2013, Aaron was the Vice President of
Enterprise Business Transformation at SAIC. In that role, he drove ITO’s transformation strategy and Enterprise
Architecture as SAIC’s Chief Architect.
Prior to joining SAIC, Aaron was the General Manager for the National Security Group at Microsoft.
In this role he served all aspects of the US National Intelligence Infrastructure from the National
Security Council, to National Intelligence assets, to Military Intelligence organizations, to Department of
Justice and Department of Homeland Security and all their subordinate offices. Additionally, he ran the business
for US Military Special Forces and the Department of Energy and the national laboratory complex. He also held
various other positions within the company during his tenure. While at Microsoft, he drove the startup International
Cyber Team and managed the Public-Sector Office of Security.
Aaron began his career in the Fire Industry as a Fire Fighter and, later, an Arson Investigator.
Leaving the Fire Industry, he proudly served in the US Navy. Upon leaving the service, he began his
IT Federal Contractor career with ANSTEC rising to become the CIO, then Keane Federal Systems as their
Chief Solutions Architect. Aaron holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern State University. Additionally,
he holds many certifications including Carnegie Mellon’s Certified Enterprise Architect and Board Certified
Professional Criminal Investigator.
